The Ins and Outs of Olympus Endoscopes

This webinar will provide an overview of flexible GI endoscope mechanics and nomenclature. It will also provide information on the proper handling of these endoscopes to minimise damage and reduce repair, presented by a qualified Olympus Academy Clinical Educator. The webinar will run for approximately 1 hour with the opportunity for questions.

Olympus EUS Cleaning In-Service

This webinar will provide the attendees with a thorough understanding of the steps required to ensure the Linear and Radial ultrasound endoscopes are cleaned correctly and patient-ready, covering the cleaning steps from leak testing procedure through to storage, following the Olympus recommendations. Our Clinical Educator will be conducting a live demonstration of the cleaning steps with the opportunity for questions during the cleaning process.

Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography Course (Online)

ERCP can be a technically challenging diagnostic and therapeutic procedure. Many nurses are not regularly involved with ERCP procedures, which can make gaining and maintaining proficiency challenging. It is important for nurses to have a good knowledge and understanding of the procedure and how the instruments are used. This course will focus on the relevant pancreaticobiliary anatomy and physiology, indications for ERCP, devices used for the procedure, the nurse’s role and the teamwork necessary for successful performance of ERCP. An experienced Endoscopist will assist with facilitating the program to provide clinical aspects of this procedural area.

This course will be facilitated by a leading ERCP Specialist.
